関西のHOUSEシーンのリーダー的存在のDJ YOKU率いる AHBことA Hundred Birds。 96年にDJ YOKUを中心に結成。 編成は流動的ではあるがホーンとストリング・セクションを擁する 30人編成の生バンド。 メンバーにはラテン・パーカションの第一人者である大儀見元やドイツやフランスの国営交響楽団で セクション・リーダーを勤めている世界的バイオリニストもいる。 01年には、あのFrancois KのWAVE MUSICよりリリースした アンジェリーク・キジョーの名曲のカヴァー曲 "BATONGA"は世界中のフロアーを激震させた。 この"BATONAGA"のヒットにより世界中のダンス・ミュージック・シーンに AHBの名は一気に知れ渡ることになる。 02年にはオリジナル楽曲"GEORGIA"をリリース。 03年にはテクノ・ハウスにまたがってヒットしたAZTEC MYSTICの "Knight Of The Jaguar"のカヴァー"JAGUAR"で再び世界中のフロアーを激震させる。 05年にはメジャー契約し初のフル・アルバム「Fly From The Tree」をリリース。 リード曲である"BATONGA"はJ-WAVEのHOT100では最高位16位を記録し話題を呼んだ。 アルバムには佐藤タイジ、Mika Arisaka、サトシ・トミイエ、DJ NORI、 DA PUMPのKEN&ISSAが参加しており外資系を中心に高いセールスを記録した。 10月には朝霧JAMに出演し話題を呼んだ。
A Hundred Birds, also known as AHB, is a famous orchestra / unit lead by DJ YOKU,
a pioneer of house music in Kansai Area (Western Japan) ,
whose music is unique in creating house music by almost all acoustic instruments.
Made up of about 30 members, the orchestra holds a horns section,
a strings section (including a lead violinist from German and French Philharmonic Orchestra),
2 drums, 2 basses, 3 guitars, 2 percussionists (one of who is a pioneer in latin percussion,
Gen Ogimi) and etc...
In 2001, A Hunred Bird's name flies all over the world with their release of BATONGA
(Original by Angelique Kidjo) from Francois K's Wave Music label (NY) . In 2002,
they release their original music GEORGIA,
and in 2003 their music once again flies all over to the world's dance floors with JAGUAR,
a cover of "Knight of the Jaguar" by AZTEC MYSTIC.
In 2005, they sign a contract with a "GUT" label,
a label inside FOR LIFE MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT,
one of the oldest independent labels in japan,
and releases their 1st full album "Fly from the Tree."
The album was a success with BATONGA, included in the album,
marked 16th on the number 1 radio station chart in japan. Such artists as Taiji Sato,
Mika Arisaka, Satoshi Tomiie, DJ NORI,
KEN & ISSA (DA PUMP) joined in creating the album.
In 2006, AHB performed at both FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL and RISING ROCK FESTIVAL,
where more than 10,000 and 3,000 fans respectively came to the show.
AHB has become somewhat of a movement in Japan since.
1989年から、大阪をベースにDJを開始。'93年から2年間渡英し、その活動範囲を拡大する。 帰国後、関西での音楽活動を勢力的に再開。現在、レギュラーパーティ３本、 USENでのDJミックスショーを手掛ける等、現場の時間を大切に持ち続けながらDJ活動を続ける。 また、ロングセットのDJにも挑戦し続けており、DJ道の奥深さや感動を与えてくれるパーティを展開。 そして、自身のユニットA HUNDRED BIRDSでのプロダクションワークでも彼の才が発揮されており、 WAVE MUSIC(US/NY)からリリースされた"BATONGA" "GEROGIA" はAHB独自のオリジナル生サウンドスケープを醸し出している。 昨秋には、またもやWAVE MUSICから、あのROLAND(UR)が手掛けた名作 "Knight of theJaguar"のカバー"JAGUAR"12INCH EP をリリース。 また同ユニットが、毎年クリスマスに行うSpecial Liveでは、 HOUSE〜GARAGE〜TECHNOの名曲を30人編成Orchestraによるライブステージを繰り広げる現代版 Salsoul Orchestraを目指すが如く、実験的なライブ活動も行っている。
He starts his career as a DJ in 1989, based his life at Osaka.
Ever since the 2 years stay in England from 1993, he has dedicated his work to music.
He now has 3 regular parties, does DJ remix shows for USEN, a enormous cable radio network,
and many other DJ plays at clubs. He also enjoys long set DJ plays.
He is also the central creator for A Hundred Birds,
where his production work is at his best. “Batonga” “Georgia”
were the two songs he has done which was released from WAVE MUSIC label in NY.
In 2005 A Hundred Birds released another 12 inch EP “Jaguar”, a cover of the
“Knight of the Jaguar,” originally done by ROLAND (UR).
As A Hundred Birds, they hold a yearly Christmas concert by an orchestra of more than 30 people,
playing classics from house, garage and techno.

1975年大阪生まれ兵庫県宝塚市育ち。作曲編曲Produce全般担当。
95年頃からHOUSE,HIP-HOPのトラック作り、
作曲などの活動を開始し９８年から自らのグループのみに関わらず、
レコード会社などでの新人プロデュースなどを引き受ける。
98年よりTeNの紹介によりA Hundred Birdsに参加、演奏ではKeyboard、
作詞作曲編曲プロデュース全般を担当している。
AHBの他にリーダーとして作曲プロデュースを手掛けるHIPHOPバンド「SUIKA」を
ウッドベース弾き語りラッパーのタカツキ（サムライトループス）、
percus.の高橋結子（ゴメス・ザ・ヒットマン）、
ラッパーのATOM、詩人のtotoと共に、2003年に結成。
その後、FUIJI ROCK2004、渚フェスティバル2005,2006に出演、
キャンドルナイト2005ではSHINGO2と共演。
音楽誌全般で高評価を得た1st alb."Harvest for the stripes"（2004）
"RIPE STRIPES"(2005)、"コインサイド"(2005)という３枚のアルバムをリリース。
主催イベント“スイカ夜話”では、降神、HARCO、Romancrew、
二階堂和美等ジャンルを超えたアーティストらを招いて、交友の幅を広げている。
2003年には京都のアーティスト「ビバ☆シェリー」の2nd alb.をプロデュース。
2005年リリースのタカツキ3rd alb.「タカツキタツキ」にはKeyboardで全面参加。
ライブ、レコーディングでのサポートキーボードとしてタカツキ・バンド
（以前にはイルリメ、セロファン、オーノキヨフミ、ジァイアントステップ、kaede、メロディオンズ他）
でも活動中。
Born 1975 in Osaka Prefecture, raised in Takarazuka, Hyogo Prefecture.
Writing, arrangement, producing is done by this man.
Started creating his own tracks from 1995 (house, hip-hop),
and begins his career as a composer / producer , working with record companies.
In 1998, he is introduced by TeN to the A Hundred Birds. He is the brain of AHB,
doing everything from lyrics, music, arragement, and producing.
He plays keyboards for this band.
Other than AHB, he produces a unique band called SUIKA,
with a woodbass playing rapper TAKATSUKI (from Samurai Troops),
percussionist Yuko Takahashi( Gomes the Hitman), rapper ATOM and poet TOTO as the member.
Later on he collaborates with SHINGO 2 at Candle Night 2005,
and plays at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL 2004, NAGISA FESTIVAL 2005 & 2006.
They release 3 albums including the critically acclaimed first album
“Harvest for the stripes” (2004), “RIPE STRIPES”(2005) and “COINCIDE”(2005).
At his host event “SUIKA YAWA”, he enjoys relationships with artists from different genres,
such as ORIGAMI, illreme, HARCO, Romancrew, and Kazumi Nikaido.
In 2003 he produced an artist of Kyoto native, VIVA SHERRY’s 2nd album.
In 2005 he joins the recording for TAKATSUKI’s 3rd album “TAKATSUKITASUKI”
as a fulltime keyboardist.
Currently he still serves as TAKATSUKI’s keyboardist, doing recordings, gigs, etc..
A Hundred Birdsのギタリストとして活動し、同バンドでは 「Georgia」、「Too Close」、「REVOLVER」、 「Splash」、「Turn It Up and Don't Stop Baby feat. TeN」 等のオリジナル楽曲やRemix作品を発表する。 Shigeki Tamuraの自己プロジェクトであるsegeke名義では、 自身の音楽制作のプロセスを発表する場として2001年に開始する。 制作の場で使用するシステムを積極的にLive ActやDJに取り入れ自身の新境地 を開拓しディープ／テック／ミニマル・ハウスなど のダンスミュージックを中心にプレイ。 別分野でのアーティストとのプロジェクトでのインスタレーション等では、 制作のルーツであるアンビエント／ダウンテンポをプレイする。 主な活動として、ダンスミュージック配信サイトBeatport.com等 からリリースしている 海外のオンライン・レーベルからのリリースや、 New YorkのアーティストDavid LastとのユニットPocket Petの12インチ "We Send It EP"がリリースされたばかり。 また、2006年9月に自身のレーベルgeometricdeckを 設立し、Beatport.comにて販売を開始。

which was one of his first music he produced.

1972年大阪生まれ。 10才の頃 YMOや当時姉の聴いていたジャズなどに影響を受け ドラムの真似ごとをするようになりその後間もなく本格的にドラムを始める、 その頃は小学生ながら毎日レンタルレコード店に入り浸る。 高校在学中の頃からミュージシャンとして活動し始め 現在までジャンルを問わず様々なバンドやセッション等に参加、 音好きがこうじて95年頃からDJも始める。 初のライブだった97年クリスマスに A HUNDRED BIRDS orchestraに参加、その後ＡＨＢの基礎を築くのに貢献しリズムの要として活躍、 プロデュースなども手掛け今に至る。 現在もＡＨＢお馴染みのメンバーのバンドやレコーディング、セッション等多方面で活動している。
Born 1972, Osaka. The music his sister listened to (YMO and jazz) influenced him to start his drum career at the age of 10. He goes to record shops everyday while he was still in elementary school, and during high school he starts his career as a professional musician. In 1995 he also starts doing DJ, and in 1997 he joins A Hundred Birds orchestra at their Chirstmas concert. Since he has been the core essense of AHB groove, and producing as well. He is playing at recordings and gigs for other AHB member’s bands, etc..

嵯峨美術短期大学（現：嵯峨美術大学）、現代美術学科卒業。
幼少から父親の声楽・姉のピアノやバレエの影響を受け、歌うことに興味を持つ。
高校1年生から始めたバンド活動で歌い始める。
高校卒業後、関西を中心にアマチュアバンドでボーカリストとして本格的にライブ活動を開始。
97年、インディーズレーベル“スタイリングレコード”よりコンピレーションアルバム
「Styling Mix」に参加し、ソロデビューする。
それをきっかけにDJ YOKUと出会い、A Hundred Birds作品、ライブ等に参加する。
主なシングル作品には「Melancholic Dub（A.H.Bのリミックス作品）」
「Sun that Shine」「Batonga」「Georgia」など。
現在、フォーライフ ミュージックエンタテイメントよりアナログ盤＆CDを多数リリース。
Born in Hyogo.
As a child she has been influenced by her father who studied classical vocal,
and her sister who studied piano and ballet.
She starts singing for an amateur band while freshman at high school.
After graduating she takes on singing as her career and in 1997,
she debuts as a solo singer appearing in a compilation album by an
independent record company “Stylish Records.”
She meets DJ YOKU through this album, and ever since she is the vocalist for A Hundred Birds.
She has sang in titles like “Melancholic Dub” “Sun that Shine” “Batonga” “Georgia,”
and many CD’s released from FLME.
